Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Chief Development Officer

Responsibilities: Oversee the agency’s communications and marketing efforts.

Status: Part-time, 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday and occasionally during evenings and weekends as needed.

Skills Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field Public Relations. Relevant training and experience in Microsoft Programs and social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Experience with Canva, MailChimp, and/or Squarespace is a plus. Experience in non-profit operations is a plus. 1-3 years’ relevant work experience.

Training Required: Microsoft, social media platforms, Canva, and other design programs

Specific Duties:

  • Design consistent and visually appealing agency communications across a variety of platforms (annual direct mail appeals, monthly e-newsletters, etc.)

  • Manage email marketing platform (MailChimp) including data tracking

  • Create content and manage distribution across social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube (business level experience a plus)

  • Track and utilize metrics to drive communication planning and implementation

  • Research best practices to increase brand recognition across digital platforms

  • Video production experience a plus

  • Assist local community agencies and individuals with any third-party on-line fundraisers

  • Press release content creation and distribution

  • Monthly newsletter content creation and distribution

Technical Skills:

  • Graphic art capabilities (Canva a plus)

  • Web design experience and maintenance (Squarespace a plus)

  • Digital/print design skills (image editing, tagging, resizing, etc.)

  • Data analysis (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.)

Miscellaneous Tasks: Responsible for other duties, as assigned.
